Disability
Disability insurance replaces part of your income if you can’t work because of an illness or injury, so you have continuing income for living expenses while you recover. Coverage is through New York Life.
- Short-Term Disability (STD) is voluntary. You pay the cost, and it covers shorter absences such as surgery recovery, pregnancy and childbirth, or a prolonged illness or injury.
- Long-Term Disability (LTD) is paid for by Townsquare Media. It covers longer-term conditions such as serious illness or injury, heart attack or stroke.
Disability benefits may be reduced by other income you receive, such as sick pay, workers’ compensation, Social Security or state disability benefits.
